Cookies

The cookies IMHO sets on your device, and why.

1. Cookies we set

IMHO sets only the cookies below. Each one is strictly necessary to provide the platform, so we do not show a cookie banner.

  • Imho.PublicAuth — Keeps you signed in, including across browser restarts on desktop and mobile. Encrypted; expires after 90 days without use, renewed while you use IMHO, and removed when you sign out.
  • Request verification (.AspNetCore.Antiforgery.*) — Protects form submissions against cross-site request forgery. Removed when you close your browser.
  • Sign-in correlation (.AspNetCore.Correlation.*) — Links the round trip to Google or Microsoft while you sign in. Removed when sign-in completes, and expires within 15 minutes.
  • Imho.Invite — Carries an invitation link's code through sign-in until registration finishes. Up to 30 days; removed once you register.
  • Imho.VerifiedOnly — Remembers a verified member's choice to see verified humans only. Set only when you turn that filter on; 365 days, and removed when you turn it off.

2. No tracking

We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, and our visitor analytics store nothing on your device, as the Privacy Policy explains.

3. Security checks

Some forms, such as joining the waitlist and registering, run a Cloudflare Turnstile security check. It runs in a frame served by Cloudflare, which processes information from your browser to tell people from bots under Cloudflare's own privacy policy.

4. Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Without the cookies above, though, you cannot sign in to IMHO or submit its forms.
